Friends of Klimafonden is a network for companies and individuals who want to contribute to development in the Skive area – where business, sustainability and workplaces go hand in hand.

The network brings together committed actors from the business community who want to support the foundation’s work while being part of a strong local community. Here, companies meet with the ambition to develop new solutions and create value through collaboration.

A key focus is the development of industrial symbiosis – partnerships where companies make use of each other’s resources, residual streams and knowledge. This creates new opportunities for innovation, efficient operations and green transition.

In the Skive area, we are working purposefully to develop a regenerative production landscape, where businesses, nature and local communities strengthen one another.

As part of the network, you will have the opportunity to:

Knowledge, Network and Insight

As a member of Friends of Klimafonden, you become part of a network focused on the green business development of the future.

Here, you can:

  • gain insight into new innovation – such as CO2 storage, green production methods in agriculture and fisheries, and industrial symbiosis

  • learn about investment opportunities and projects relevant to green business development

  • take part in meetings with researchers, specialists and business leaders

  • expand your professional network and exchange knowledge with other companies

  • help position the Skive area as a hub for green innovation.

A Stronger Green Profile

Participation in the network can also strengthen your company’s green profile and strategic position.

The network can, among other things:

  • support your company’s ESG efforts

  • highlight your engagement in climate, environment, and local community

  • strengthen collaboration with authorities, foundations, and research institutions

  • contribute to a stronger shared profile for the business community in the Skive area.

Frame for the Network

The network typically meets twice a year around relevant themes and updates.

  • Morning meetings from 08:00–10:00

  • Usually hosted by Klimafonden Skive

  • Participation is voluntary, but requires registration

  • Guests may be invited once by prior agreement

  • Meetings end with light refreshments and time for networking

In addition, updates are shared a couple of times a year with status on Klimafonden Skive’s work and relevant initiatives.
